There are two groups of Saurischian dinosaurs, the meat eating Theropods, and the plant eating Sauropods. The skull in Saurischian dinosaurs is basically a uniform pattern, nearly identical to the primitive thecodont skull. The skulls are comparatively deep, highly vaulted with large temporal and preorbital openings. The teeth in Saurischians are simple in structure. |
